If I hadn't read the first book, I'm not sure where I would stand, but this is an amazing sequel. The characters are older and you see some real character development between book one and book two. It's also refreshing to see that Elwood and Drall|About the Author|Patrick Doud is a novelist and poet whose books include Girding the Ghost, The Man in Green, and Hickory Bardolino Poems. He lives in Gloucester, MA.
