There's definitely a romantic thread running through the whole book, but it involves two shy teens, so, romance but not sex.
I really liked this book except for one thing. It's more like half a book than an actual book. It feels like someone wrote a complete novel, and then||"... it's most definitely not your typical 'once upon a time.' Bentz has an interesting writing style, descriptive but not overly so.
